The Science

Throughout the beautiful journey of pregnancy and even otherwise, the vaginal muscles (pelvic floor muscles) supports your bladder, womb (uterus) and bowel. Imagine an elastic rubber, if you stretch the rubber and release it. Immediately it will go back to its original length. However, if you stretch and hold it for 9 months, it can change it’s elasticity. Similarly, the vaginal muscles are stretched out for 9 months which can make changes to vaginal tightness.

Women who had C-Section (Caesarean section) don’t have changes in their vaginal tightness is a myth, it is very important to understand that vaginal muscles of every pregnant woman bears the weight of the child for 9 months.
